Dr. Caponera is the best there is. After multiple consultations with other dentists and orthodontists, I was on the verge of getting jaw surgery for my underbite. I came to Dr. Caponera so he could start the preparations for my surgery, but he stopped me in my tracks, and said that my underbite wasn’t that bad. He then devised a treatment plan where not only would I get to fix my underbite with just braces, but with Invisalign! As a 24-year-old that was a dream come true. Fast forward 4 years, I have a perfect smile with no underbite, and all I had to do was Invisalign. Ask Dr. Caponera, he’ll show you the pictures! I really cannot imagine how miserable I would have been if I went through with surgery. As a provider, Dr. Caponera is kind, engaging, patient, and flexible, not only with his schedule, but with your preferences for how you wish to go about your treatment plan. As a medical student, that was a huge plus for me. Another plus is his absolutely lovely staff who are always a pleasure to be around. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Caponera to everyone. So glad I chose Dr Caponera for my second go at Invisalign. My first experience with an ortho up in New York 5 years ago didn't turn out so great. After my New York Invisalign treatment, I ended up with a space in between my front two teeth. It had bothered me and kept opening up even with a wire in my mouth, so I decided to give it a go again. After visiting 4 orthodontists and Dentists around the area, I decided to go with Dr. Caponera. Caponera Orthodontics was not the least expensive but during my initial consultation, Drea, I believe one of the hygienists, was very thorough in her examination and terrific at explaining everything. I decided to go with them after this consultation and I'm so glad I did. After around 9 months (as estimated) I finished my Invisalign treatment, my teeth are now straight and the gap is closed and no wire needed! Dr Caponera was so great at listening and making little tweaks and adjustments to get it right. His team and staff are very detail oriented (just what I wanted for Invisalign, especially my second go at it). Highly recommend this orthodontist practice, especially if you're looking for an ortho to conduct an Invisalign treatment the right way!

When I was researching whether to use metal braces vs. Invisalign to fix my teeth, Dr. Caponera's crew effectively explained the differences and the pros and cons of the different types of braces. It was because of his effective explanation of both types of braces that I decided to do my braces at their facility. The entire time I was with them, I felt like I wasn't being kept in the dark. They consistently explained exactly what they would do to my teeth, and if I was okay with them. If I didn't understand what they were saying, they would continue to understand until I got it right. Dr. Caponera and his staff are amazing. As soon as you walk into the office, you are greeted by the sweet receptionist (Sharon). My son and daughter are both currently receiving orthodontic treatment at the office. The staff is very knowledgeable and super pleasant.
